Rep. Curt Sonney (R-Erie) is hosting his annual Senior Expos in Harborcreek and Corry at the beginning of September.
The Harborcreek Senior Expo will be held on Friday, Sept. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Harborcreek Fire Department Social Hall, 7275 Buffalo Road, Harborcreek.
The Corry Senior Expo will be held on Friday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Corry Community Center, 15 South First Ave., Corry.
“The expos are always a lot of fun for those attending. Seniors get to meet up with friends and collect a lot of great information from organizations and businesses that provide senior services,” said Sonney. “I enjoy seeing everyone and getting a chance to talk with those in attendance about any concerns or questions they may have regarding state-related matters.”
Dozens of vendors representing various state agencies, local governments, businesses, health care organizations and nonprofits will be on hand to provide information and answer questions important to seniors. The expos are free to attend and no RSVPs are needed.
Flu shots will be administered during the expos. Seniors wanting to receive a vaccination are asked to bring their insurance cards.
Free hot dogs and hamburgers will also be available at both events courtesy of LIFE-NWPA.
For more information, contact Sonney’s district office at (814) 897-2080 in Harborcreek or (814) 664-9126 in Corry.
